CDCFIB Announces Physical Screening for 2024/2025 Recruitment Applicants

Abuja, June 14, 2026 — The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the next phase of its long-awaited 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, moving shortlisted candidates to physical screening and document verification.

In a press release signed by Major General A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), Secretary to the Board, on June 13, 2026, the CDCFIB directed applicants who participated in the online Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 to check their status on the official recruitment portal.

Applicants must visit https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng between Monday, June 15 and Friday, June 20, 2026 using their original Application Number from initial registration.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to upload their credentials and select a preferred date and venue for physical screening.

- The recruitment process remains completely free. The Board warned that no individual, agent, group, or organisation should demand any fee for shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, or any other stage.

- Applicants were advised to ignore fake messages, fraudulent links, and unauthorised persons claiming to represent the Board.

The exercise covers recruitment into four key paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior:

- Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

- Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS)

- Federal Fire Service (FFS)

- Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
